Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation of various types of mechanical equipment for residential and commercial properties.
- Clearly and professionally communicate with customers to explain any issues discovered during troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair work, and provide follow-up proposals for additional work as needed.
- Supervise apprentices and provide guidance and direction as needed.
- Adhere to company safety policies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies in the field.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Be available for on-call duty and occasional after-hours work.
- Drive company vehicle to job sites and maintain a clean driving record.
- Lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and access rooftops and other equipment as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of verifiable experience as an HVAC Service Technician diagnosing commercial and residential air conditioning equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting variable speed, communication, and two-stage systems.
- Positive attitude, energetic, courteous, and professional at all times.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent communication in English and Spanish.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record that qualifies for being insured by our company's auto insurance provider.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- General computer skills and familiarity with using mobile devices for work-related tasks.
- EPA certification required: EPA Universal or EPA Type II.
- Must have own hand tools.
- Ability to read blueprints.
